Do you want to start making your own clothes so that they fit you properly and in your chosen fabrics? Then this day is the start of that journey. A simple A-line skirt that can be finished on the day. We will show you how to cut your fabric to the pattern, make darts, sew in a zip, finish seams, make a waistband and finish the hem. As you can see from the picture, we have made a few (we have way more but couldn’t fit them all in!) in different fabrics and different lengths.

Each term we will teach another simple garment for you to gain more confidence in dressmaking.
