This beautiful picture of a very colourful pheasant is Sunny’s first attempt at free motion embroidery and what a result! It wasn’t as challenging as first thought and she had a lot of fun making it. Upholstery fabrics that were donated to us were used as well as tweeds and velvet which are a bit firmer than cottons. Together with Heat & Bond this is a fun project if you want to start your own free motion embroidery journey. We will have lots of fabrics available for you to use and maybe you have some at home that are suitable.
