Come and try something completely new but just as much fun, mindful and addictive as sewing.
Learn the Japanese art of Kumihimo braiding to make intricate patterned cords for fastening and embellishing anything from garments to bags or even shoes. They make ideal drawstrings for your handmade bags. The course will run over two mornings and starts with making a basic 16 strand braid using Japanese foam discs, then moves on to other patterns and finishing the ends. No previous experience is needed, this course is ideal for beginners.
